Rutgers University alumnus Ed Romani started DJing during his days and nights on Busch Campus.

With a laptop and a love for music, Romani started honing his craft at his apartment but soon entered the New Brunswick bar scene. After he earned a resident DJ spot at Olde Queens Tavern right off Easton Avenue, students and alumni started to take notice.
Within a short period of time, the name and persona “DJ N9NE” developed as a tribute to New Jersey Turnpike Exit 9 – one of the main roadways to enter NJ’s Hub City.
Working his way around the entire state at club and private events, N9ne eventually landed gigs working the entertainment circuit in Atlantic City. His diversity and creativity, along with his ability to get any venue or crowd going, has fueled the spread of his name in other areas such as Philadelphia, NYC, MD, DE, and FL.
Every Friday night you can hear his own mixshow on Philly’s Wired 96.5 FM known as #FRIDAYNIGHTWIRED.
