DJ O

The story of DJ O began long before he ever stepped behind a set of turntables. As a kid, he would dig through his father’s record collection while his dad was at work, discovering the sounds of disco, funk, soul and R&B. What started as a childhood fascination with music became the foundation for a lifelong passion.

Over the years, DJ O has turned that passion into experience, performing at lounges and other amazing venues, as well as hundreds of weddings, birthday celebrations, school events and private parties. His experience also extends to live entertainment, having opened freestyle shows and worked alongside freestyle recording artist Cynthia on her show tape, as well as performing multiple events with Bingo Loco and Dayshift.

DJ O is also a proud member of The Senate DJs, Da Clubkillas and Blendjunkies—DJ collectives that reflect his love for the culture, creativity and craft of DJing.

But for DJ O, being a great DJ has never been about simply playing great records. It’s about reading the room. With a deep knowledge of music spanning generations and genres, he knows how to adapt to the crowd in front of him, build energy and create the kind of atmosphere that turns an event into a party. No two crowds are exactly alike, and that’s exactly what keeps him inspired.

His dedication to the craft goes well beyond his live performances. A DJ battle winner, DJ O continually sharpens his skills behind the decks while creating his own bootlegs, blends and DJ mixes. He is also expanding into music production, constantly looking for new ways to evolve creatively and become a more complete and well-rounded DJ.

Never content to rest on past accomplishments, DJ O continues to learn, create and evolve—always remembering that no matter the venue, the event or the size of the crowd, the most important people are the ones in the room.
