01. Who we are

The Senate DJs is a non-commercial DJ collective. This website presents member profiles and public posts and provides an invitation-only portal for members. We do not handle bookings or payments between visitors and members.

02. Information we collect

We collect information that members or invited members provide, including names, stage names, email addresses, location, biography, profile links, images, media, posts, house assignment, access role, and charter acceptance details. We may also receive information you send when you contact us.

Like most websites, our hosting and security services may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, timestamps, and authentication cookies.

03. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the website, authenticate members, maintain profiles, publish member-approved content, administer invitations and permissions, record charter acceptance, respond to questions, diagnose problems, and improve the site.

04. When information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the site, comply with law, protect the collective or its members, or when you direct us to publish it. Service providers may process limited information on our behalf, including Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database and authentication services, and Resend for transactional email.

Public profiles and posts are visible to anyone. Embedded music or video from services such as Mixcloud, SoundCloud, or YouTube may allow those services to receive technical information under their own privacy policies.

05. Cookies and authentication

We use cookies or similar browser storage needed to keep members signed in, protect accounts, and remember essential site state. Third-party media players may set their own cookies when loaded or used. We do not currently operate an online shop.

06. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as it is needed to operate the collective, maintain public content, document membership and charter acceptance, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

07. Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or remove personal information associated with you. Some records, such as signed charter records or published material with an ongoing organizational purpose, may be retained when appropriate. Members can update much of their public profile through the member portal.

08. Children

The site and member portal are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

09. Changes and contact
